Preschool Classes
Tracing Steps have created a dance and drama based movement programme for parents and their children. We can lead structured sessions aimed at children aged 18 months to 4 years to encourage confidence, creativity, agility, balance, fine and gross motor skills, communication and group cohesion.
The children have the chance to learn dance routines, take part in role play, perform stories and play together.Tracing steps lead a number of successful sessions across the Northwest in private nurseries, children's centres and community centres.
We offer 30 minute and 45 minute sessions at nurseries and hold several 45 minute open community preschool sessions across Manchester that you are welcome to come and join.
How we work
Our preschool programme is accesible in many ways. We can offer a 10 week course or sessions that run all year round. We can also offer a FREE introductory taster session to centres to enable you to see how we work and what we can offer your centre. Our sessions are fast paced keeping the children alert and engaged! Lots of the centres we work in ask us to put a mini performance on for family and friends at Christmas or Easter.

Future Development...
Many mothers struggle to juggle both their child’s and their own fitness. Many parents can’t afford childcare and a gym membership.
We are looking at developing the community dance programme to include fitness participation for Mothers by running a Fitness/toning or Zumba class for them while keeping their children busy with a preschool drama, dance and movement class.
This will require two teachers or in a children’s centre can be done with one teacher with the children using the crèche, if possible
